About Sarah

My name is Sarah, and I live with multiple rare medical conditions. These conditions have been a part of my life for many years, and have shaped parts of who I am, but there is a core of me that remains untouched. This core part of me acts as a witness to everything else going on in the quiet cyclone around me.

For those who are curious, I live with panhypopituitarism, diabetes insipidus, lichen sclerosis, and osteochondritis dessicans. All misdiagnosed at some point, all having multiple effects on the body. I want to express though, that diagnoses are not as important as the person at the centre of all of them – that is what will prioritized here.

I also happen to work in a health profession, which does provide some insight from the other side of the desk when in a medical practitioner’s office.

I look forward to opening up, connecting, learning and laughing as I build this new blog.

Please get in touch to chat or to suggest any ideas you may have. I look forward to your input and please know that it is greatly valued.
